We didn't spend all day tending to his nibs though - we headed into town in the afternoon to spend some of our Christmas loot. J's Gran had given us some cash each, so J bought some CDs and I got a book about paintings "What Great Paintings Say: From the Bayeux Tapestry to Diego Rivera" by Rose-Marie & Rainer Hagen (it's a quite large collection of essays about particular paintings, explaining some of the meanings behind particular bits of the painting) and a small mirror with a Mackintosh design on the cover. I also bought a book in Waterstones with the last of my tokens from my birthday/leaving work ("Storm Front" by Jim Butcher) but I'm saving the ones I got for Christmas until I've not got quite such a queue infront of me to read - I'm currently half-way through 2 non-fiction books and a fiction one, and I've 3 books out of the library that I need to get to soon.
In the evening we watched more Doctor Who - Jo gave us the DVD set for Christmas - J's been watching each episode then I've joined him to re-watch it with the commentary on.
I think we need to be a little less lazy today, but as it's nearly noon and nothing much has happened yet I'm thinking we'll just have to be a lot less lazy tomorrow ;)
