Spent a little of yesterday morning looking for blend challenges - the problem with looking at communities primarily populated by teenage girls is that the layouts do tend to hurt one's eyes ;) Thank goodness for ?style=mine, some would've been unreadable otherwise. And what's with all these styles that have the cursor do weird things for links? I did manage to find three challenges that look active and interesting, so I shall have a go at them for a while. I've had to write myself a wee note with which competitions are due in when and if I've done and/or submitted the entry yet ... I think that's a sign that that's enough competitions and if I want to enter others then I need to drop some ;) Got the entries in for the two that close on Wednesday, got 3 that close on Friday, 1 so far that closes on Saturday (but another will arrive by tomorrow) and the rest are all next week.

We went to the tip yesterday afternoon ... oooh what fun ;) ... so now there's no longer a dead light-fitting and mop outside our backdoor, nor a dead hoover in the spare room. And topped up with petrol coz it sounds like an idea to have a full tank this week.

Dinner was curry - Tikka Massala from Patak's curry paste jar. Note for future: take the lid off for the last 5 minutes otherwise it's too liquid. Not a problem I usually have with recipes - our hob cooks hot and the lids of the pans don't fit that well, so normally too much liquid boils off. Not this time.

Finished off the day with an hour or so of reading my book. I've not been reading enough, I should do something about that :)

Resources for icons and blends

Some people ask for credit when using images/brushes/textures/fonts. So here we are:

Hopefully I've not missed anything/anyone. This post will be updated as I use more things.

Forgot to mention something in this morning's update.

Yesterday I also proof-read my MMP stuff for Wikipedia, and put it live. I wrote the Structure section, and the majority of the Classification section - and tweaked a few other bits and pieces.
