Graphs & Clothes, Things to Make a Margaret Smile :)
Found some neat graphs for last.fm data yesterday, if you're logged into last.fm this'll show your own data. Interesting to see trends with the individual artists - 2005/6 was the time of metal for me if you look at the graphs for System of a Down or Rage Against the Machine. Whereas clearly some days I just want to listen to The Beatles and then I don't for months. And you can tell I've been listening to more streams (non-scrobbled) over this last year from the overall data - the gap between track 70k and track 80k is much bigger than the previous 10k milestones. Graphs are neat, I like that sort of thing :)

When I finally summoned up the enthusiasm to leave the house yesterday (the grocery shopping wouldn't do itself, no matter how much I wished it would) I decided to treat myself to some new clothes. Partly coz the jeans I was wearing had more holes than I thought they did, so time to replace them. I'm probably too old to shop in New Look, really (judging by the apparent age of all the other customers) - but their jeans fit. It's kinda shocking, particularly coz they're also dirt cheap (£10 jeans!), but they actually come in enough at the waist, unlike pretty much every pair of expensive jeans I've ever bought ;) And while I was there I picked up a top as well, in amongst the stuff that makes me feel old there's still a few things that suit me, just right for an impulse buy. So today is wear-new-clothes day! :)
