There'll be another one along before you know it.

Mmm, scary thought really - years go by somewhat quicker than they used to ;)

it's not technically christmas any more anyway, which means you now have to plan for New Year :)

But anyway, New Year is kinda fixed - we're going to J's parents over that period, as we had to go after 28th (karate club xmas dinner) to get a proper visit we had to be up there for New Year. So we'll almost certainly go to the pub (though may have to bully J's parents into actually going out - they'll enjoy it once they're there).

But don't you get to celebrate something new and fun for Boxing Day? We don't get Boxing Day. :(

Nah, Boxing Day is more like a national 'morning after' ... though I'm not suffering from the effects of over-indulgence yesterday. I guess some people go to 'the other family' and do a repeat of xmas day, that's what my ex and I used to do.

Yeah, same for us - boxing day was always when we went to visit the other set of grandparents (and when I was young, my aunt/uncle/cousin would be there then, too).

Doesn't Christmas last until 6th January?
