You know ... I'd forgotten how much the Warhammer books shamelessly wallow in the sheer amount of gore they can pack into one book. Twas rather fun ;)

I'll write a proper review later, probably :)

I suspect it was Drachenfels, since I lent them it last time I visited.

And for comparison - Drachenfels is one of the better ones, but yes they are all that gory.

I liked Beasts in Velvet, quite nicely done. Don't know if I still have a copy of Drachenfels/

Ah but it has been reprinted! Yay for the Black Library. They're re-releasing quite a few of the old novels now.
