If we have a cat I think we should call him/her Basil. Basil T. Plant.

Oh, and people can be quite truely silly sometimes.

Basil sounds like a good name for a cat. As long as you don't get lots and start calling them things like Pine Nut, Garlic, Parmesan and Olive because then you'd have Pesto.

Shoot... I was going to make some comment about the cat detective in the Disney movie, but it was The Great Mouse Detective, and his name was Basil.
