Gah, there are times when I wonder if short hair would be less trouble. I just spent 10 minutes cutting the hairballs off the hoover head.

But in other news, our ADSL modem arrived and ADSL will be enabled tomorrow. Whee!!

I have a simple way of avoiding this problem.

But cool for ADSL :-)

You don't hoover?

Hoover is a much nicer word than Vacuum though. Warmer and less harsh.
Jonathanmcurtains on June 26th, 2002 10:16 am (UTC)
That is very true. But vacuum isn't the name of an unethical multinational which makes millions from people using it's name 'de facto'.

This is the main reason why I got a laminate floor when I moved rooms. Between me and the cat, a carpet is a pain in the ass.

But you see the hairs so much more :/ The floor on our kitchen is a nice pale wood-effect type thing, and the hairs are really visible.

My dad bought me one of those staticky Vileda mop things when he did the floor (awww, my father's so sweet. Heh). It's actually pretty good - it picks up way more dust and hair than an ordinary broom, with marginally less effort.

I remember when i had my ahir chopped off. For a few days I still had a "Ghost" ponytail, which demanded being pulled out from behind collars ect. However it soon passed..

Also, other benefit include less time in the shower, a marked reduction in haicare products (Well shampoo anyway), and you soon lose the image of long hair.

All in all, IMHO, obviously, short hair is a better choice (pay heed jaq;)

Don't cut it! Long hair suits you!

Mind you, I've always had a thing for long hair... I'd still have long hair myself if it weren't for the fact that people told me it was preventing me getting a job. It was a big thing for me to cut it... But I'm happy with my hair now... and at least I know I can grow it back again if I want (eventually)....

What vacuum cleaner do you have? I saw the results of it's first usage in your old house and was suitably impressed with it's capabilities of picking up hair. With 2 cats I have to comb them and use a sticky roller on the sofa before I can pick up my cross-stitching.

My hair is past the getting-stuck-in-collar stage and now brushes my shoulders, but i want to grow it longer like in this userpic from a few years ago (1999).

My wife just recently cut her hair claiming it would be less trouble. It actually looks like it's more trouble now. She spends forever messing with it and the curling iron and junk.
