Some of the extras are both small and silly, so don't matter. But it also includes some rather nice (but over large) books. And some stuff that's useful to have but isn't often read (like a bird identifying book) - which could be boxed up again.
We're also thinking of getting at least one extra shelf for each of the three new bookcases, which'll take another 20 or so books each (but obviously, not the larger ones). I also think I might have to box up some of the fiction. I'd put McCaffrey, James Herbert and most of Stephen King away I think. As I used to buy-on-sight McCaffrey and J used to buy-on-sight James Herbert then that's quite a lot of books, and I have a selection of King stuff (I'd leave out The Stand coz I wanna read it again some time, Needful Things too. I'd like to get a copy of IT, but buying new books seems strangely a bad idea). Oh and I could put Koontz away, he only has one story, and it's a tad juvenile iirc.
I wish books were CD sized though :( We've got twice as many CDs and we're not quite out of space for them.
